I worked around asbest in uh telephone buildings, um back in the70s and that’s, where I was exposed um to asbest and um, I didn’t uh show any symptoms until just last year I wasn’t ready for the the diagnosis, because the diagnosis Is fatal I’ll never forget, because it was just before Christmas and I sat there and she told us. The prognosis was about a year here and I was like Wow kind of a surreal experience.
I never really knew doctors actually said that to patients, but they do um.
We were confident um that um um, this Law Firm, could uh could get the job done, and so we went with them and um it.
Just the whole process just ran really well and uh.
We weren’t apprehensive um, we didn’t have, have any questions or any problems um.
It was just amazing.
Actually, it was uh, really a good experience, um to be a part of of this law.
Firm and have them handle it because it just went so smooth um.
They did a a real good job in in handling this case and uh.
It came to resolution real, quick. It wasn’t drawn out um over a long period of time and so um.
That was a good thing.
We got a a considerable uh sum, and so it’s it’s going to work out uh for it’s not going to do the the money is not going to do me any good um, because um, I’m not going to be Able to spend it but um, you know the family is going to benefit from from the settlement.
Everything’s worked out so far um.
I had a a bad year last year, but um this year I’m doing real.
Well, so um Life Goes On.
